Too often, life is tough. We wonder how we're going to cope, and how our faith will survive (or whether it will) in years to come. We think of our kids, and wonder how they will ever be followers of Jesus in a hostile world. This is not a challenge felt by this generation alone. The people of Peter's day lived with the threat of suffering and persecution on a daily basis. Peter's letter (1 Peter) reveals wonderful comfort and powerful hope for us.
