Over the next two Sundays (2nd and 9th) we are going to be doing a 'mini-series' looking at the letter of 2 John. I would encourage you to take the time over the coming few days to read through the letter a number of times, and if you have some extra time, think about the following:
* What words or phrases are bring repeated?
* What issue does John seem to be addressing in the church?
* What is the central message of the book (try and get this into 1 sentence)?
* How might this message speak into the church of today?
It might seem like extra work but I believe that this sort of preparation will help you get the most out of these messages.
Also, a reminder that we will be preaching the same message in both AM and PM services. That means that if you come along to both you are going to get even more out of it!!!
