10th Anniversary Celebration Tomorrow 9am!

Posted 10 October 2009, 12:47 PM by David Groenenboom. Permalink

Hi Church family!

Just one last invite to you all to come and celebrate God's goodness with us tomorrow morning at 9am. We have so much to be thankful for, so much to acknowledge of God's wonderful grace, the presence of His Spirit and the awesome power of His Son, Jesus Christ.

I am looking over the program for tomorrow, and moved at the prayerful creativity of God's people as they seek to honour him. Wow! God has blessed us so wonderfully!

After the service were celebrating with shared lunch, games and fun stuff for the kids, and just good times together in community.

So come! Come early! Come ready to honour the Lord of our years!

The Psalm writer says

Thank you for responding to me;

You've truly become my salvation!

The stone the masons discarded as flawed is now the Capstone.

This is God's work!

We rub our eyes - we can hardly believe it!

This is the very day God acted - let's celebrate and be festive!

Salvation now, God! Salvation now!

Oh yes, God - a free and full life!

Ps 118

Postscript:

I've just left the Car Wash - finished just 30 minutes ago, and we've raised over $1000 for quake and tsunami relief! This is an incredible effort, and what a great sight it is seeing God's people work together to help others whose lives are broken.

Special thank to all involved: washers, driers, hangers-on, but most of all to God and his goodness for making this all possible.

Oh, and thanks to all those who answered about the 'lazy susan' - we have it sorted!

See you all tomorrow!

Shalom,
