We live in a very strong 'success' culture. We want to appear successful and to have it all together. No one likes to admit to any weaknesses. And the same goes for the church as well. We want to present a good, strong image, that we know what we are doing, and we are doing things right. But when we look at the Bible, and history, we see something that is very worrying for successful churches. Because we see that revival means repentance. Revival means grieving over sin, recognizing that we haven't got it right, and that we need to do things God's way. Is the church willing to go the way of humility, for true revival? Are we willing to sacrifice 'self' for the path of Jesus?
