Pastors' Comings and Goings
Over the next few weeks we will see a rotation of pastors on Sundays, and avaiaible throughout the week. This Sunday, in both the AM and PM services, we will have Dan preaching for the last time, finishing off our Christmas series in Luke. Dan and Cath leave for Geelong, and then the UK, next Tuesday.
Next Monday, Keith and Emmy return after 3 months of serving a church in Christchurch, NZ. Keith will be leading both services on Sunday 10th January.
On Sunday 17th January we are privileged to have two other CRCA pastors preaching, Jack De Vries (National Ministry Formation Coordinator) and Josh Hartog (pastor of Westside CRC).
Dave and Leonie have left for some time with family (and relaxing) in Victoria and NSW. They will return in mid January and Dave will be 'back on board' February 1st.
I (Clinton) head off this Friday to the Christian Reformed Churches Youth Convention, being held in Stockport, South Australia. I am one of the speakers there. After that, we will spend a week in Victoria for a family reunion. I will be back on January 18th.
If you have any pastoral matters or concerns over the next month, please feel free to contact one of the elders, or Keith, or myself (I will have the mobile and email on).
In other staff news...
* Margaret is on leave at the moment, returning January 4th. The office will reopen at that time.
* Ettiene and Dana de Wilzen begin work on January 18th, and we are privileged to have Ettiene preaching in the evening service of Sunday 24th January. Recently Ettiene passed his classis preaching license, so its great to have him using his gifts in this way. Both he and Dana will be commissioned in the morning service of Sunday 24th January. Ettiene has also applied for a chaplaincy position at Alexandra Hills State High. Please pray that God would open up that door for further employment and ministry.
From all of us 'staff' at RCRC we wish you a safe and blessed holiday time.
