As we head into a new year, so quickly our thoughts go to what is to come, what we are going to do, how we are going to do it, when it will be done by. But in Deuteronomy, as the nation of Israel looks forward to going into the promised land, they are encouraged to first look backwards. As we look at history, we see a lot about who God is, and what he has done, so we are encouraged to go into a new year with the right foundations, and the right commitments. Read ahead in Deuteronomy 4:32-40
