Matt 5:1-12
When we are at our lowest, at the end of our tether, shattered and damaged, we often think God is far from us. When we're broken and bruised, it's hard to think that we're blessed. The Sermon on the Mount is Jesus announcement of God's liberating reality in Jesus. If you are broken and weary, bowed and bent, stuck in a funk of doubt or godlessness, then Jesus, his words and his people are just what you need. Read ahead at Matt 5:1-12.
