Passion for Ministry

First sessions start tomorrow, with registrations commencing at 12noon. We’d still encourage you to come along, even if only for the evening sessions (7pm Thursday and Friday). You will find Peter Adam an engaging and stimulating speaker. Our prayer is that he will deepen our understanding of the work of the church, the witness of God’s people, and what t means to serve the Lord together.

If you have any questions, please email passion4ministry@redlandscrc.org.au.

Synod Opening Service

Redlands is happy to announce that the opening service of Synod will be held at our normal worship time of 5pm this coming Sunday afternoon. We looking forward to a bumper attendance, and you may wish to come just that little bit earlier to avoid the last minute rush.

It’s exciting to think that we will have people from all over the nation, and also about a dozen international guests. This will give us a very warm sense of fellowship with the wider body of Christ. Many of the Synod visitors will already be present on Sunday morning.

The Synod meeting will be discussing issues very relevant to the future of the church and the emphases and ethos we should be developing. Generally, discussions of public interest are held in the evening sessions. We will keep you up to date with what is coming up as soon as the program is set.

If you have questions you may direct them to synod@redlandscrc.org.au

Prayer

  • ·         Please keep these very special meeting in your prayers for the next ten days. There is a lot of ground to cover. The delegates need a great deal of wisdom to make decisions that will glorify God, and lead to a strong and healthy church.

  • ·         Please also pray for those in Redlands and other congregations who have Synod guests with them. Give thanks for the gift of hospitality
