Family Camp 2010 May Day longweekend
Planning for Family Camp 2010 is well under way. Family Camp is an annual event where people from the Queensland Reformed Churches come together for a long weekend of fun and fellowship. Old friendships are renewed and new ones are made. There is heaps of free time for sport, surfing, swimming, talking, relaxing, music, having fun, sleeping, and doing nothing. The food is plentiful. Sleeping arrangements are a choice of dormitory or family units. Guest speaker is Tina Robertson from Scripture Union on the topic of "Heaven in the Real World". Great social program for kids and adults. Bush dance with "The Burning Bush Band" on Saturday night. The location is Currimundi Recreation Camp on the beach on the Sunshine Coast near Caloundra. There are 200 places available. Dates are Friday night 30th April through to Monday morning 3rd May (the May Day long weekend). Book these dates out in your calendar now, and plan to be there. Further details and enrolment forms will be provided with later updates.
