Free event: Compassion Australia Advocacy evening: 26th March, 7pm
If you have been challenged by Jesus' words in the Sermon on the Mount, or inspired by the message of the Global Market Day last year, or captured by the heart of the work of the New Life orphanage in Burma, then this is an event for you...
You are being invited to do more for children... because you CAN.
Children are frequently the hardest hit by poverty and injustice and have the least resources or influence to change their circumstances. In 2010, Compassion Australia invites you to join us in becoming their voice.
The Compassion Advocacy Network (CAN) will provide you with ways to introduce justice into everyday actions- you can learn, speak up, take action, support, create, volunteer and pray... in thousands of different ways. Over the next two weeks, CAN will be holding a series of special evenings all over the nation to explore these different avenues.
Brisbane will be hosting the CAN on Friday 26th March at 7pm at Rochedale Baptist Church (199 Rochedale Rd, Rochedale)- and you are invited!
