In your prayers...

We continue to remember the Nugent and Condie families as they gather to bury John Condie tomorrow. The funeral service will be held at Redlands CRC, and will commence at 2:30pm. What a comfort that Jesus is our resurrection and life!

What an encouragement...

It has been to see the way the church family has embraced and supported those who are grieving. This is just the time when people need a hand, and it's been great to see that coming together so wonderfully! Thanks for being such a wonderful church family! DG

Sunday's services

9AM: Hope for Hard Times. Too often, life is tough. We wonder how we're going to cope, and how our faith will survive (or whether it will) in years to come. We think of our kids, and wonder how they will ever be followers of Jesus in a hostile world. This is not a challenge felt by this generation alone. The people of Peter's time lived with the threat of suffering and persecution on a daily basis. Peter's letter (1 Peter) reveals wonderful comfort and powerful hope for us. Read ahead 1 Peter 1.

This is the first of a new series in AM services called "Following Jesus in a Hostile World"

5PM: Worthless Religion? Last Sunday night we saw the trouble we are in, as a world that has rejected God and under his judgment. We desperately need something to change. So what about ‘religion?' Is it possible that we work off this debt and get ourselves back to God with the things that we do? That's the question we will be wrestling with this Sunday as we keep moving towards our question "Why Jesus?" Read ahead in Romans 2:17-3:20
