It seems that one of the most challenging struggles in being a follower of Jesus is to move away from seeing him as a mere sector in life, like icing on a cake, or whether his rule in our lives is integral to our very personality and being. Peter makes one thing very clear: when a person comes into relationship with Jesus, they commit themselves to a total way of life. They become different people. Read ahead: 1 Peter 4:1-11
