Leaders we can respect: our tendency to distrust leaders and people in authority is legendary. What would change if we viewed authority and leadership differently? Or if leaders led differently? We may be surprised to find out that the model of leadership developed in the New Testament is both attractive and world changing. No wonder: it is modelled on Jesus himself. That's what Peter says about leadership, and then there's what he says about 'follower-ship', and that's just as alluring. Read ahead at 1 Pet 5:1-7
