Posted 19 October 2006, 4:00 PM by David Groenenboom. Permalink

Special Collection Sunday

This Sunday (both services) we will have the opportunity to dig deep and support the work of the New Life Orphanage in Burma. This is a very special occasion – and God has blessed us richly with the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Let’s express our deep thanks and gratitude as we support this Gospel ministry in Burma.< /P>

All monies received through the collections (apart from those obviously designated for RCRC) will be dedicated to the New Life Orphanage. Enquiries: Eddie Bos 0416 000 600

AGM Sunday Morning

This Sunday morning there will be a brief 10 minute meeting to receive and approve the audited financial statements of the Redlands Christian Reformed Church. These statements have been available for the last two Sundays, and copies are still available from the foyer.

Church Council requests that all members of Redlands Christian Reformed Church remain in the auditorium for this brief meeting. The motions before the meeting is as follows:

1.    To receive the financial statements of the RCRC and Auditor's Report as presented for the year 2005 – 2006.

2.    To adopt the audited financial statements of the RCRC as presented for the year 2005 – 2006.

3.    To appoint Frederiks & Associates as auditors for the 2006-2007 year

All members of Redlands Christian Reformed Church are eligible to vote.

NOTE: This meeting will be held after the morning service only.

[My apologies for previously indicating that this meeting would be held after both services, also for sending the motions out earlier with the wrong dates. I know it’s hard to believe, but sometimes us preachers are some of the most confused people on the planet. Please forgive me for dragging you into my crazy day… - DG]
