Can you help us?
A major part of 40 Days of Community will be the undertaking of several local mission projects during that time. Each small group will choose one local project to be a part of at some time during the 40 Days of Community. These projects are things that benefit the Redlands community that we exist within.
We are currently putting these projects together and are interested in hearing from anyone who has contact with people or organisations that could do with some sort of help during the next couple of months. This could be anything form child care, to house work and gardening, to helping local Scout groups and retirement villages. As we are seeking 40-50 of these projects we are open to most suggestions.
So, if you think you have something that might be of interest, please email 40days@redlandscrc.org.au, or phone Ben West on 0414 871 242.
Sign Up continues...
Last Sunday, 60 people committed themselves to the 40 Days of Community, which was a great start. Sign up will continue this Sunday after both the AM and PM services. Or else you can email 40days@redlandscrc.org.au with your name and Small Group requirements.
Some people have asked if they need to sign up if they are already in Small Group- and the answer is a big YES! We have to order the material and so we have to know how much to order. As well as this, signing up your name is making a commitment to participation in this journey together.
This week's prayer focus- The Campaign Team

- Pray for each person involved in the leadership and inner workings of the 40 Days of Community to rely on God's sufficiency and strength. (Team is: Peter Goodridge, Todd Hammond, Melody Groenenboom, Ben West, Damien and Helen Watson, Clinton Berends)
- Pray for unity, harmony, and lasting friendships to develop among team members. Pray for their protection and good health.
- Pray that the families of all pastors, staff, and lay leaders of the Campaign Team will be prayerful and supportive during this busy season.
- Pray for the effective commuication of plans between the campaign leaders and the church staff and ministry leaders.
- Pray for God's anointing power to accomplish great things through each team member.
