Hi Church!

This morning I reminded us all about the Breakfast Meeting on Saturday, starting at 8:00am. We'll be getting together to discuss some changes in leadership structure; developments with church planting; stage 1 of the building plans; and how we're hoping to resource that (ie. Our Budget for 2007-2008.

What I should have done is also advise you that there are drawings of the proposed extension in the Hall. Now, I guess some people found them, but others may have missed - so we've made copies of the more important drawings and dropped them into this email.

Please keep in mind that the ‘floor plan' is not yet ‘set in concrete' - it may change a little still. But it's enough to give you the basic idea. It's good for you to have a look at these because they will help you determine what to do with the decisions we need to make at the meeting.

Here is the site plan (note the new boundaries):

Here is the ground floor plan for the new double story extension on the northern (kitchen/crèche) end of the building:

Ground Fllor Plan

The motions the Church Council ask the congregation to approve are as follows (only those who are members of RCRC may vote):

1.  To approve to subdivide and re-align the boundaries as per diagram 1 (site plan)  of current lots 88 and 90.

2.  To sell the three new, re-aligned properties

(for the purposes of debt reduction)

3.  To approve, in principle, the extension of the current building, as per diagram 2 (Ground Floor Plan)

Please prayerfully consider these things in this coming week, asking for the Lord of the Church to be honoured and glorified in our decision making.

Thanks Church - and see you Saturday!

Dave

PS: Leonie and I are away for most of this week celebration the conclusion of Leonie's uni degree - God is good!
