BREAKFAST THIS SATURDAY 23 JUNE 8AM

You're invited to another RCRC Happy Meal! We will get together for a breakfast meeting on June 23! We'll be discussing

  • Latest developments in the building program. The committee will be presenting options to the congregation before the meeting. These options will outline the nest recommended stage of development for the facilities at RCRC.
  • Leadership Structure: Sometimes people ask ‘what do the elders do here?' - the new leadership structure has enabled us to refocus the elder's role in a way which we believe will benefit ministry at RCRC. We'd love to be able to tell you more about it
  • 2007/2008 Budget. Eddie Bos will present the budget for the coming financial year. Ministries and groups are asked to forward allocation requests without delay. Printed material will be made available before the meeting.

Sunday

9am:  As we navigate our way through life we are confronted by two equally determined foes: legalism and liberalism. Legalism assails from within by seeking to bind us up where Christ has already freed us. Liberalism on the other hand attacks from the outside seeking to rob us of the fullness that is found in Christ alone. This morning we close out the first half of Paul's letter to the Colossian church by being reminded that only the light of the gospel dispels the darkness lurking beneath the shadows cast by these two miserable thieves .

Also, Lisa Keegan will be comissioned into her role of Children's Ministry Co-ordinator during this service.

5pm: We all make little compromises along the way, it's part of life, right? But what about with our faith and obedience to God, can we make little compromises there, and still simply hope that everything turns out fine. As we look at the life of Jacob, we look at the cost of compromise what it means to Jacob, his family, and ultimately what God does with it. Read ahead Genesis 34

Kids @ Nite

For the last 2 months Kids @ Nite has been operating during the 5pm services. Thank you for your patience as we have been working this out and we look forward to the continued growth of this ministry.

A couple of things to note about K@N

  • K@N is children in prep to year 7. Unfortunately we do not have the leadership or facilities to cope with children younger than this at this time. A crèche is available for you to make use of.
  • K@N will not be operating over the school holidays. This week will be our last week and we will resume on the 22nd of July

If you have any questions, please speak to Monique Klease or Clinton

It is through serving those around us and being a part of a small group that one gets to experience community at RCRC.

- How can I join a small group - See Clinton or give him a ring on:  M:  0424 477 487

- How can I join a ministry - Visit the Welcome Desk at entrance to church.

If you think you are too small to have an impact - try going to bed with a mosquito!

Let's start making ripples together!
