Sunday

9am: Are we really alive? What does it mean to be alive? Who decides if we're truly alive or not?
So often we gauge our 'liveliness' by our reputation, by what the people around us think. We keep active as individuals or as a church group so everyone can see how much good stuff we're doing. But it doesn't matter what everyone else thinks. It matters what Jesus thinks. In Revelation chapters 2 & 3 Jesus tells seven churches what he thinks about them. On Sunday morning we'll look at just one of those to see what we can learn about being 'alive'! Read Revelation 3:1-6.

5pm: Almost every day we read or hear something about the drought that is gripping our nation, our state and our city. We are constantly being told that we are in the biggest dry spell in our history, and things may not get better for a while. But for an even longer time, we, our city, our country, and the world, has been suffering a drought of a different kind, a drought that sees us longing and thirsty and dying for meaning, purpose, significance, and eternity. This Sunday evening, in the first of our THIRST series, we are going to explore why we are so thirsty, and where the answer to this drought lies.
