Church Planting in Redland Bay?
Live or work in Redland Bay?
Interested in planting a church in this growing area?
We are calling together all those who live in Redland Bay, or might be interested in platning a church in this area. A ‘coffee and chat' about the possibilities of this work will be held on Saturday 21st July, 10am-12noon. Please feel free to come along.

9am: Why do we roll our eyes when the topic of giving comes up? We are so used to going on a guilt trip about giving that we could even claim frequent flier points! Consider this: 1) our typical response may say more about us than those who speak to us, and 2) our typical response might show that we really have not understood who God really is and the actions that lie at the centre of his personality. Maybe we just have a lot to learn... So where do we start? Let's look at two of the most well known verses in the Bible: Gen 1:1 and John 3:16. Unless we understand them, we'll never get the idea of giving.
5pm: So what makes Jesus so different? When so many things, religions, people are offering a real thirst quenching, what makes the water that Jesus offers us so radically different and fulfilling. This week we'll examine Jesus' claim to give us ‘living water' and why it stands out as so radically different from anything else. Just one sip, and life will never be the same again.
Preview Screening: "Amazing Grace" - July 27
It appears that there is some confusion about the dates for the screening of Amazing Grace. Maybe that confusion exists mainly between my ears... the date for the Screening has been confirmed and it is Friday July 27. (NOT this week).
The time for the screening is still to be confirmed. We will know more about that by the end of the week.
This may change the number of people who would like to attend, so we will send the clipboard around once again coming Sunday. Sorry about that.
If you're not going to be at RCRC on Sunday and would like to come, please send an email to dave@redlandscrc.org.au and I'll put you on the list.
Apologies for the confusion...

"Lets start making a difference together"
In your prayers...
- Please remember John and Ineke Crawford and their family. John's mother died on Sunday, slipping peacefully into the presence of Jesus. Mrs Crawford was 86 years old, and she loved Jesus. While we recognise the comfort of the Gospel and the hope of the resurrection, those who follow Jesus also keenly feel the pain of separation - so please remember to walk the road of grief with those who feel the loss.
