House Sitting/ Granny Flat
Hello Family in Christ:
We are Lance and Ruth Bishop. We have been missionaries in New Zealand, and have just returned to Australia. We have applied for permanent residency for Ruth, as she is from America, and have been told the wait for the permanent residency could be up to one year. We had hopes of returning right back to New Zealand, where we live and work at Lakes Ranch Christian Camp. There we have been very involved in sharing the Message of Jesus Christ, encouraging kids in their walk with the Lord, discipling, working hard at keeping the camp in order, as well as all of the outdoor activities that our camp provides! We have also been involved in the planting of Calvary Chapel Chruch, in Rotorua, where Lance is the sound man and very active with men's discipleship, youth, and evangelism. Ruth is the worship leader each Sunday, very active with the women's ministry, Sunday School, and youth.
Now that we are in Queensland, we have started our own Landscaping Business, while waiting for the permanent residency. God works in amazing ways and we put our full trust in Him as we continue to go where the Lord directs. We look forward to our return to New Zealand, but until then, we need a place to live. We are happy to house sit for any who are travelling, or rent a furnished granny flat, or if anyone has any other ideas/options, we are happy to know about it.
