Sunday

9am: In the event of Christ's death, God shows to the world the extent of His love for disobedient sinners, that's us! The amazing truth of the gospel is that, as regards the way of salvation: ALL has been done for us!  God calls on us to accept that with a believing heart!
The criminal on the cross was not able to do anything, apart from recognizing Jesus as the King and ask for mercy! And that was what he received, in the nick of time! Paradise for him!

5pm: "As sad as it is, death happens everyday! What makes Jesus' death anymore special than others? Why did Jesus have to die? Is Jesus just another religious martyr? Come along Sunday night to find the answer to these questions"

In your prayers...

- Please remember David and Monique Klease and their family, as well as David & Jane Petersen (Dave Klease's sister), as Mrs Fran Klease, (David & Jane's mother) died yesterday (Wednesday). We remember that our hope is in Jesus, and we pray that his grace will sustain and strengthen the Klease family in this time. We especially think of Dave and Jane's Dad, Earl, and pray that God's grace will be his hope and his comfort.

- Continue to uphold Clinton and Tracy and family as they go through the rigours of Clinton's diet. Pray that God will sustain them and encourage them and provide healing according to His will and time.

- Pray for the congregational Breakfast meeting to be held on 8th March, that God's will may be done. Pray for the leaders as they prepare for the meeting.

- Pray for those who are working at the SWIM base in the Solomon Islands - Kevin and Machi Rietveld, Jack and Trudy Visser and
Grace Vaate. Pray for continued strength and health to do God's work. Pray especially for Kevin as he teaches at the Seminary.

- Pray for each of our activity groups, MOPS, GEMS, Small Groups, HSM, YAK, 21+, Craft. Pray for wisdom and strength for the leaders and for open hearts for those attending, that God may teach all He wants us to learn through these means.

- Pray for our government, locally, as they prepare for council elections, state-wide and nationally, as they lead the state and
country. Pray that God will give each member wisdom and direction for their specific roles as they serve the Australian community.

Twenty20 Cricket

Due to popular demand we are organising the RCRC team/teams early this year. Inter-Church Twenty20 cricket will kick off on the 5th of April and 2008 will be the 3rd season of this competition. In the past years RCRC has finished 4th and 3rd , so we're on the way up!

This is a Saturday afternoon competition (1-4:30) and goes for roughly 10 weeks. It is an all ages event (min age = 15) and a great way to mix with people from Church or a way of bringing your friends along to a Church associated event.  If this sounds like something that you would like to be a part of, get on board!
