YAK - ICESKATING!!

When: 13th June (Friday night)
 
Time: 6.30 - 10.30pm (approximately)
 
Where: ICEWORLD (1179 Beaudesert Road, Acacia Ridge 4110)
 
What: Meet at Cleveland Maccas at 6.30pm for dinner, then split into cars to drive to Acacia Ridge
 
Cost (entry and skate hire): $13.50 per adult  (may be cheaper if we have lots of people)
 
Bring:  socks, $13.50 entry fee + extra money for dinner, and bring a friend!!

 HSM Amazing Race

The Amazing Race is on for all students in Year 8 - 11. As I need to get an idea of numbers, please RSVP when possible (by this Sunday would be great).

Day: Saturday, 14 June.
Time: 10am - 5pm.
Cost: $10.00

9am: The end of all prayer: Rev 21
The day is coming when prayer will be 24/7. Every longing we have for life, for hope and for justice is a prayer than yearns for fulfilment. The day will come. And it will come when Jesus comes. Are you praying for that? And until the day, are you living your prayer in the here and now?

5pm: Sunday's message will be one from a series which I springboard out of John Ortberg's book, God Is Closer Than You Think.
I'm talking about the kingdom of God - how we already live in it, but don't fully have it. (Double Dutch eh?)
We are called to live the kingdom of God life... it's hard yes... but that's the gist of Mt.6:10.
