Sunday 9AM: God is closer than you think!
Our guest speaker, John Hoogenhout, will be talking about the kingdom of God - how we already live in it, but don't fully have it. (Double Dutch eh?) We are called to live the kingdom of God life... it's hard yes... but that's the gist of Mt.6:10.
Sunday 5PM: God the Giver
We're commencing a brand new series on giving and stewardship. And just so we get things in their right perspective, we're starting with God. At his very essence, God is a giver. He made a choice and he gave. He gives of himself in creation, in the covenant of grace, in the establishment of his people, the nation of Israel, the coming of Christ, the Cross, Resurrection, the mission of the Kingdom, and the ultimate restoration of all things. Perhaps the best known verse of all, is that God so loved the world that he gave... If we ever want to understand what giving is all about, we have to start here! Read ahead: Gen 1-4
