9am: Spiritual warfare is sometimes when of those topics that we get a little bit scared of.
It seems to be inviting us into an unseen, unknown and volatile world that is for ‘super Christians' and people a little bit on the edge. But when we start to explore the Bible's teachings on the issue we begin to see that being involved in spiritual warfare is not optional for a Christian, we are already in the middle of the battle. The only question is whether we are battling well, and prepared, or just letting things happen around us.
In preparation, read through Ephesians 6:10-18

300 Men for Jesus
Acknowledging our own past failures, and following the upcoming "It's a Bloke's World" preaching series (PM services, July 20 - Aug 10) we challenge the men of our city to join us in getting serious about following Jesus.
Our goal is to renew our efforts to grow as authentic Christian men who are faithful to our families, who fight hard against sexual temptation, who are honest and reliable in all our dealings, who seek to serve rather than be served, who are committed to our churches, who strive to be bold yet humble and who bring honour to our Lord Jesus.
What's with the 300?
In Judges 7, the Lord takes a tiny number of men and accomplishes an amazing thing: 300 men in fact. It's a small start, but as with Gideon, we are 300 men who want to make a big difference. And we want you to join us. We are 300 men who are committing to live radically different lives, because we have been radically changed through Jesus Christ.
We're looking for at least 500 more men to join us to hear Mark Driscoll from Mars Hill Church, Seattle on August 28th. Will you be there?
RCRC has booked thirty tickets ($15) for this one-off event.
