New AM Teaching Series @ RCRC
This Sunday we're starting our journey into "Draw Near - Opening yourself to God". We'll be looking at what it means to ‘draw near to God', and we'll ask the question of whether we're really as open to God as we could be, and consider further what we might be able to do about it. You can read ahead at Ps 139.

On Sunday night Dan continues with his messages on 1 John, this week opening up God's call on his people to be a community of truth. Dan writes, "For the world we live in, truth is a matter of opinion. No one is sure of what truth is. People are becoming more and more convinced that there is nothing solid to base life on. Even as Christians, we struggle discerning what is true and what is false. Even so, John shows us in his first letter that those who walk in the light can be confident in the truth of Jesus Christ. The Son of God is the centre of truth and the measure of everything else in life. In Jesus we find an unshakable and immovable foundation, and from him we can distinguish between what is true and what is false.
