Telling our story can be one of the most impacting ways to share the good news of Jesus. On one hand, it is the power Jesus has to enter into a person's story, show them love and grace, save them from sin and turn their life completely around. But on the other hand, each story that features the saving work of Jesus is part of a much bigger story - God's story of salvation and redemption! Each of our lives is like a mini version of God's restoring work in the world. So, our testimony not only helps other people to identify with real life circumstances, it also points to God's great story of hope and rescue, which sees it's climax in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ! Your story is not just for you... God can use it to bring more people to know Jesus. Have a look at the story of the blind man in John 9 for an example.
