Family Camp
Family Camp 2009 May Day longweekend
Planning for Family Camp 2009 is well under way. Family Camp is an annual event where people from all the Queensland Reformed Churches come together for a long weekend of fun and fellowship. Old friendships are renewed and new ones are made. There is heaps of free time for sport, surfing, swimming, talking, relaxing, music, having fun, sleeping, and doing nothing. The food is plentiful. Sleeping arrangements are a choice of dormitory or family units. Guest speaker is Jack De Vries on the topic of "Multiplying Disciples". Great social program for kids and adults. Bush dance with "The Burning Bush Band" on Saturday night. The location is Currimundi Recreation Camp on the beach on the Sunshine Coast near Caloundra. There are 200 places available. Dates are Friday night 1st May through to Monday morning 4th May (the May Day long weekend). Book these dates out in your calendar now, and plan to be there. Further details will be provided in later newsletters.
