Moved to Action: March 15 - Redlands CRC
Human trafficking is a global epidemic, yet remains widely unseen or acknowledged.
It is the fastest growing form of international crime, and the second largest source of illegal income, raking in more than 31 billion dollars every year.
That's 31 billion dollars made on the buying and selling of innocent and exploited human beings.
But the issue goes far beyond statistics. God is calling the church to respond to injustice in its every form, and to open our hearts to the cry of the oppressed as a central part of being a follower of Christ.
A team of passionate child advocates (from RCRC as well as other congregations) will be leading the service and sharing on the reality of human trafficking and sex slavery, what it means for the church and how God is calling his people to be moved to action.
This special event will be held here at Redlands CRC, March 15 @ 5:00pm
