Have you ever wondered what the alternative to Easter would be? Ever wondered what your life would be if Jesus had refused to be arrested, called 12 legions of angels to his side, destroyed the Romans, and ruled over all mankind? The Bible says he was tempted. But while it all sounds heroic and exciting, we would not be so blessed if he had. We would still be weighed down by sin, guilty in the sight of the conquering King, and ultimately dead. Thankfully Jesus did the will of his Father - humbly and obediently - he responded to God. For us that means life, also under God's will, serving him and looking forward to an eternity with him.
