Prayer

Posted 25 March 2009, 8:22 PM by Wendy Hammond. Permalink

  • Mrs. Ger Mostert is doing much better, and even though she is still in Greenslopes hospital, she hopes to return to the retirement village next week. There is a good possibility that she's able to go back to her independent-living unit, otherwise she will go to a hostel unit. She hopes to celebrate her 89th birthday in May, the oldest member of the Redlands congregation.
  • Also in Greenslopes is Mr. John Kapinga; he was diagnosed with a severe case of
diverticulitus (bowel problems). He is in good spirits, and very likely will be home again before the weekend.
  • Mr. Dawid Botha did receive news of the death of his mother in South Africa. He had only just been there to visit her.
  • Let us remember in prayer those who are not well, and also those who are grieving.
  • Thanks to God for the blessing to Julie and Ben Lawson with the birth of Joseph Martin a brother for Matthew and Denna.
