It's quite possible to look at the life of Judas Iscariot and see a reflection of ourselves, isn't it? Many of us enjoy a relationship with Jesus and have walked with him for quite some time, but, just like Judas, we've often used that relationship for selfish gain and personal agendas. Yet, the most amazing part of the story of Judas is that Jesus never stopped offering his hand of friendship. Jesus' response to the man who betrayed him was to be gracious and loving, always ready to forgive. Thanks to Jesus, we don't have to share the same destiny as Judas. He offers us his hand, that we might accept his grace, no matter where we are in life, and be his friend for all eternity.
