Sturgeon St Boundary Re-alignment program / Property Sale
Dear Church Family,
At previous congregational meetings, the building committee through the Church Council has outlined its program to do a "boundary realignment" on the adjoining church properties that included property numbers 88 and 90 Sturgeon St. After a long process the Redlands City Council has processed our application and permitted the DA to go ahead.
The building committee has recommended to the Church Council that the bestmanner for RCRC to move forward with its desire to reduce debt, is to sell the house at number 88 Sturgeon St as is. This is a 3 bedroom home on 923 sqmeters of land. This property could be used as a duplex site as it falls within the U1 property rating. A separate DA would need to be lodged. It is currently being used as a short term rental, returning $300 per week.
The Church Council now wish to make the property firstly available to anybody who is connected to RCRC for a discounted price of $375,000.
We will allow a period of 3 weeks (up to 26th April 2009) for people to make known their expressions of interest in the property. If at the end of that period we receive more than 1 expression of interest, then the Church Council will hold a ballot to decide the final purchaser.
