Revelation 2:18-29
This morning we continue the series dealing with the seven letters to the churches in Revlation; this is letter number 4.
Again, one of the biggest problems - also of this church - is compromise with the world.
False teaching continues to plague these young churches, and accompanied with that is an immoral lifestyle. The Lord is angry when he sees that there is an attitude of tolerance and broadmindedness, on the part of those churchmembers who remain faithful.
Judgment is certainly to follow, and we have to ask ourselves whether our view of God and Jesus is sufficiently anchored in Scripture. Do we see Jesus only as Saviour, without realizing He is also Judge?
