It's easy to forget that we must face trials in order to grow as Christians. It's easy to forget that we need God to rescue us numerous times in our lives, and not just the once. It's easy to forget that the Jonah who went down into the depths of the sea and down into the guts of a fish was man of God. But he was. And he needed the reminder of God's grace in order to strengthen his faith and reignite his song of thanksgiving. And like Jonah, we also need reminders of God's grace to renew our faith and turn our focus back to Christ. Read Jonah 2... Maybe even a few times...
