When you're led down a dark path by a guide, it requires some action on your part: you need to go with that guide. When we're led through life by the Holy Spirit, it requires some action on our part: we need to keep in step with the Spirit (Galatians 5:25). So, how can we keep in step with Spirit? We walk the line, we obey, we listen, we depend. In our society it is unpopular to do this, but this is how we live by the Spirit and see the fruit of the Spirit evident in our lives.
