Growing Together: Pray for one another
Prayer is an important part of a Christian’s daily life. We also have a general awareness that it is a good thing to pray for other people and to have other people praying for you. Maybe it is more than just a good thing, perhaps it is crucial? But, why should we pray for others? What benefits are there to interceding for people? Why is it so important that we pray for each other? Here are a couple of things we will think about in the message on Sunday evening. We should pray for others because it is a powerful way to bear one another’s burdens; because it increases our love for each other; because it helps people as we have the Holy Spirit intercede for us; because we are commanded to; and because it brings glory to God. How much time do you spend praying for one another?
