Sunday Services 29th October 2017

9am Service: Crying In The Wilderness
John was preaching, not in city or village, but in desert. The place he chose to cry out loud is significant. The way he live was significant. The message he preach was so significant. He was the one looking Jesus Christ and  shouted “Behold, the Lamb of God”.
Bible Passage: Matthew 3:1-6

5pm service: Sheer Grace (Bryan Chapell)
What was it that changed Martin Luther 500 years ago and brought on the Reformation of the church and a recapturing of the gospel of grace? It was the rediscovery of the righteousness of God passed to people, as described in Romans 1:16-17. The aim of this evening was to watch a movie on the life of Martin Luther, but the best was too long, and others were too ‘boring’. I came back to the opening message at the recent Reformed Theological College Preaching Conference. Our speaker is Bryan Chapell, Senior Pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church (Peoria, Illinois), the Founder and Chairman of Unlimited Grace, a radio and online Bible-teaching ministry. As he unpacks the gospel and its link to Martin Luther, the same message comes to us.
