Exodus: A Lot of Frogs


If the words ‘ten plagues’ were to be mentioned, most people would have some fairly distinct images coming to mind. Images of frogs, locusts and boils are imprinted on us whether it is from the pictures we colored in as kids or the vivid scenes from Exodus: Gods and Kings. What wouldn’t come to mind, however, is that each of these plagues is a stern judgment of God that still confronts every single human being today. The frogs exposed a critical failure of Egyptian society and in timeless fashion it’s doing the same thing to Australians as well. On Sunday night we’ll unpack what the frogs are meant to tell us – and it’s about a whole lot more than good entertainment…
