Mahatma Gandhi once said: “The essence of all religions is one. Only their approaches are different.” While these are words spoken by a leader of old we hear them frequently mentioned in conversations and discussions about religion in our society. People say stuff like: ‘I believe all religions are basically the same’ or ‘it is the same deity behind them all which is ‘accessed’ differently through various forms of spirituality’.
