It is a simple truth, what you sow, you will reap. If you sow apple seeds, you will grow apple trees, if you sow wheat you will harvest wheat. If you sow orange seeds you will grow oranges. Simple, but sometimes we find it more convenient to swap the simple truth for lies. We believe that if we are able to sow apple seeds and grow orange trees. We deceive ourselves and believe that if we plant a feather a chicken will grow. We actually believe that if we sow to the flesh that we could still reap the fruits of the spirit. This is reinforced by our culture that makes it look like we are able to go through life without having to deal with the consequences of our actions. It looks like those who are taking shortcuts in life are harvesting a full crop. We should not be fooled like this, rather we should continue doing good because the real reward will come at the right time.
