The Search for Meaning: A Meaningless Life equals a Meaningless Death

It is claimed that Benjamin Franklin once said the only certainties in life are death and taxes. Most of us have lived long enough to face the reality of this statement. Death is life’s great leveler and something that we will all face, but how are we to live when we know that our time is limited? Solomon’s answer is simple, embrace the days that God has given you. If we match up this idea with the hope of the gospel we can live a meaningful life and even see the hope beyond death.
