Have you ever had the experience of looking back on something you did wrong and saying to yourself, ‘I can’t believe I did that. I don’t normally do that sort of thing.’ How does that happen? Why do we humans do things that we believe are wrong? Why can’t we educate ourselves to a better society? Paul examines these issues in Galatians 5 and in verses 19-21, he takes a close look at the way our sinful nature can shape our actions and lives. But he is also working towards a better way and he shows how Jesus makes that possible through the Spirit.
