The Worthy Walk

More material in the New Testament pertains to Ephesus than to any other community of new believers. When Paul writes to the New Testament churches or to individuals, he usually is addressing a problem in the church. But this is not the case in Ephesians. He made three visits and spent three years building the church and it seems his letter was to reassure the new believers of their assurance of salvation and then give them some principles on how to live their new life in Christ. Last Sunday we found that God is a sculptor, endeavouring to make us masterpieces to display His glory. This morning, Paul gives the Ephesians (and us) some guidelines on how “to live a life worthy of the calling you have received..” (Eph. 4:1)
